American Legion Post 1776 Color Guard/ Honor Guard

The Apple Valley Post 1776 Color Guard/Honor Guard supports the mission of the American Legion by “advocating patriotism and honor … and continued devotion to our fellow service members and veterans”. We march in parades, participate in events saluting America at schools, elder care facilities and other community venues. We also conduct military-style funerals for our fallen heroes.

An American Flag is provided, at no cost, to drape a casket or accompany an urn of a deceased Veteran who served honorably in the U. S. Armed Forces.  These flags are available at your local Post Office.  Please follow this link to the VA National Cemetery Administration for more information:
